Classical Christian Education
Centered on the Christian worldview, Living Tree Classical Christian Co-op incorporates the classical approach to learning, the Trivium, a three-stage process tailored to a child’s natural cognitive development. Instead of just teaching subjects, LTCCC focuses on equipping homeschooling families with the "tools of learning" rooted in the biblical foundation.
The Grammar Stage (The "Poll-Parrot" Stage)
Primary Level: Grades K–6
Focus: Knowledge and Memorization
At this age, children naturally enjoy chanting, rhyming, and memorizing facts. The goal is to build a massive mental library of "building blocks"—the rules of phonics, foreign language vocabulary, math tables, and historical dates.
Method: Repetition, singing, and recitation.
Motto: "I know the facts."
The Dialectic Stage (The "Pert" Stage)
Secondary Level: Grades 7–9
Focus: Understanding and Reasoning
As students enter adolescence, they become more inquisitive and argumentative. The dialectic stage harnesses this by teaching them how to think. They begin to look for the "why" behind the facts, study formal logic, and learn to identify fallacies in arguments.
Method: Debate, Socratic questioning, and writing persuasive essays.
Motto: "I understand how these facts connect."
The Rhetoric Stage (The "Poetic" Stage)
Secondary: Grades 10–12
Focus: Wisdom and Expression
In the final stage, students learn to communicate their thoughts with elegance, persuasion, and clarity. They synthesize what they’ve learned in the previous stages to form original opinions and defend them beautifully.
Method: Public speaking, advanced research projects, and specialized study in fields like philosophy or advanced science.
Motto: "I can express my thoughts persuasively."
Primary Programs
New Grammar | English Language Arts

Our Secondary Programs equip students in the dialectic and rhetoric stages. These programs emphasize logic, philosophy, literature, science, elocution, and meaningful dialogue.
